Seeing as yesterday was Mother’s Day we thought we would put up a post with some of our favourite images of mom’s. We went through our library and picked out some old and some new favourites. We hope you enjoy them… and remember every day is Mother’s Day!

Just wanted to post our last winter engagement session so you can all see what you missed out on. We did photos for Rana & Sami in Emily Murphy Park, as well as, around Downtown Edmonton. Rana emailed me after my post about how awesome winter photos can be and she was convinced… she had to have her engagement photos in winter. Lucky her they turned out freaking awesome. Have a look for yourself… while you look if you get that pang of sadness that you missed a wonderful opportunity (it’s cause you did) don’t fret, spring is another awesome time to have photos done. I’m going to post soon about why you should have spring photos. If you are smart you will book your session before then so that you can get to enjoy your gorgeous spring photos before everyone else. I’d like to point out that you don’t have to be engaged to have your photos done… mother’s day is this weekend and maybe you have forgotten but don’t worry its not to late to book a session and she will have something special to look forward to. Also, you don’t have to be engaged or getting married to do photos book a session as a gift for your husband/wife or girlfriend/boyfriend… why you ask.. because everyone loves getting a gift for no reason whatsoever and photos are a super cool gift.

I’ve got lots of pictures to post today and for the most part I’m gonna keep this short. We did engagement photos for friends of ours Jesse & Alyssa this winter here in Edmonton, it was awesome… like I always say I love doing photos for friends… for many reasons one of which may or may not be that we usually end up going out for dinner after and that is always a good time (we went for sushi). Jesse & Alyssa are getting married this May and we could not be more excited for them… we are shooting their wedding so look forward to that!
